REBATES FOR GOING GREEN
There are still some rebates for new home builders to help you "go green".
The Department of the Environment, Energy, Heritage and the Arts offers a $1600 rebate for the installation of ceiling insulation or solar hot water systems.
The Sustainable Energy Development Office (SEDO) offers a $700 rebate for bottled LP gas-boosted solar water heaters used in areas without reticulated gas.
