The Old Slaughter House on the farm is no more, after a run in with a tree in one of the recent storms. My grandfather Neville used to own the butchers in town, along with his brothers Colin and Ron. The butchers used to be where Udderly Divine and SWAT are now. They sold up in the 1970's and the butchers continued operating until the 1990's when it was closed down. I guess that meant trips to Margaret River and Busselton after that. Thankfully the butchers is back in town now, with Shane, Mandy and Brendan at Cowaramup Meat Specialists. Now we just need a bakery back in town. Any takers?
