THANK YOU!Madeleine and Ken from Minot Wines dropped in a some of their wine the other day and a lovely note, after seeing the story about our great grandfather Roy Earl, and how he is being honoured in Cowaramup Country through the street names.
After a hard days work, dad and I thought we deserved a drink and opened one of the bottles - 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon.
Now, let me tell you about the wine..... it was fantastic! 2006 wasn't the best year for reds down here, but this is cracking.
A very "Margaret River" fruit driven Cabernet. It's smooth and silky and not overly tannic. Very drinkable now. Two thumbs up from Katie and Neil.

(if you noticed the state of the blinds, please don't tell mum - she'll be mortified)
